Visitor Information

Well-marked, convenient visitor parking is located at the entrance of the property. Commercial bus and recreational vehicle parking spots are provided close to the log reception building.

Log Reception Building

As you arrive, please enter the log reception building. Displays inside the building introduce local northern flora and fauna. Friendly interpreters will help orientate you.

Picnic tables and benches are provided for visitors at various spots along the walking trails. There are several picnic tables located at the front for which you could enjoy a lunch before or after your visit. Visitors are welcome to bring their lunch. Outhouses are available at the main entrance, and are also located on the trails in summer. Please note, there is no running water. There is a pop machine (operable in the summer months only). We highly recommend bringing your own water.

Animal Care

Animals feeding stations centrally located in each enclosure. During feeding, animals gather in these areas, increasing their visibility to visitors. Your tour may or may not coincide with the feeding schedules.
